ELECTROPLATED DIAMOND CORE DRILL BITS

1-LCD Series Straight Shank Diamond Bits.
Bonded (coated) diamond core drill bits have diamonds bonded to the edges of the drill bit tip, generally using an electroplate bonding process. The diamonds don’t actually wear out as much as they wear off due to friction and heat. Remember, you are not drilling a hole as much as “grinding” a hole, hence the process is slow. These bits require proper drill speed (refer to chart), low drill pressure and adequate water lubrication.
